Hey people, I hope you're doing good. This blog post has a lot of good news, and it's exhilarating. It's good to have some good news during this chaotic time. Let's get started...

The Biden administration has revealed a plan for cutting fossil fuels in the United States. They showed a plan about how solar energy could be almost 50% of the nation's electricity by 2050. Analysis from the Energy Department showed that if we scaled the production of solar panels by three times, it could provide 50 percent. This could also employ 1.5 million people, and luckily this won't increase electricity prices, and I know that most people who don't use solar energy say that it's too expensive. This could be the solution. I find this really exciting and uplifting after all the chaos that has happened so far.

Also, the world's largest carbon-sucking plant opens in Iceland. It's called Orca. It uses carbon-sucking technology. It captures 4,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide yearly, which is a tiny fraction of the amount we would have to pull out by 2050. This technology could potentially change climate change for the better. But, if you think about it, anything makes a difference. I know these plants are expensive and take a long time to build, but we need to save our planet.

Climate change has been affecting animals because the animals have to adapt to environments. This can affect endangered species and change animals' appearances. I also wish that there won't be any more fires in Northern California. Before I sign off, I have some good news. The Northern Bay Area got some rain. It's not much, but it gives hope that rain will make an appearance again. Anyways, try to make a difference, walk and bike (it's good for the environment and you), participate in peaceful protests, recycle, conserve water, try to hybrid or electric cars, don't use too much electricity, buy reusable, plant plants, and spread the message that climate change is not a hoax.

Try to make a difference,

Robotics Girl
