Hello!!!

Hey!! I’m alunissage! I’ve just recently partnered up with Robotics Girl. Since this is an introduction, after all, here are a few things about me! I practically live off of tea, and I listen to music and read maybe a bit too much. I’ve spent over 7 years learning French (Québécois, to be specific)- which is where my nickname comes from! It means “moon landing.” Also, I find biotechnology and astronomy really interesting, and I like researching things in those subjects! A lot of people around me are extremely passionate about our Earth and Climate Change, so that’s kind of how I got interested in Climate Change and the effects it has. I’ve worked on a few projects with Robotics Girl before. She’s AMAZING, so I’m so excited to work with her on this blog and other things to help bring awareness to things that we can do to help the environment because there are still, somehow, people who believe that it’s not happening, despite evidence and statistics and studies proving that it is! Even if the effects seem small right now, they’re HUGE! And soon enough, the things that people brushed off as “normal weather” or “not a big deal'' will become one, and the damage might be irreversible.

Robotics Girl has already written these things before, but a refresher is always good, isn’t it? Here are a few things that you can do to slow down climate change and help the environment! You can plant something! Plants take in carbon dioxide (CO2), the high levels of which are causing the biggest environmental issue that we’re facing, and release oxygen, which we need to survive! Or instead of driving somewhere, you could bike, or if it’s a short distance, you could walk! You could also help spread the message that Climate Change is NOT a hoax, and that it’s a real issue that needs to be solved!

I think that’s all I have for today, so thank you for taking the time to read this!

Stay Safe!
